This afternoon around 3:45 Station 35 was dispatched to assist Oakmont of a large brush fire

Foam 35 responded to the Marple Rd side of the incident and secured a water supply to Engine 56. The crew from Foam 35 assisted Squad 56 with placing an 1 3/4 in service and started to knock down a large amount of burning brush. Several mutual aid companies were requested and operated on this large brush fire. Crews from Brookline operated for approximately two hours. Engine 35 also made the response.
