With the assistance of this federal money, the firehouse has greatly alleviated the large financial burden it would incur.

In addition to the grant money, Haverford Township has pledged additional monies to Oakmont Fire Company, and Bon Air Fire Company to assist in purchasing self-contained breathing apparatuses for those companies, as well.
