Oakmont Working Fire
This morning at 3:33am the commercial building response was dispatched to 700 Ardmore Avenue in Oakmont’s local for a reported apartment fire

Haverford Police arrived to find heavy smoke and fire from the building. Montgomery County Engine 25-1 arrived and went in service. Engine 35 arrived shortly after and laid a supply line. The crew from Engine 35 assisted with fire suppression and opening up. Ladder 38 (Oakmont) arrived and completed searches. Foam 35 arrived and secured Engine 38’s supply line while the crew preformed ventilation. Ladder 35 arrived and assisted with egress and ventilation.
Crews from Brookline operated for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
