At last evening's Board of Directors meeting, the firefighting crew, life members, family, and guests were on hand to witness the election and installation of Deputy Chief, Steven Poole to become the 10th Chief in the history of the fire company

Steve, who is a life member of Brookline Fire Company, has served in every operational role beginning at Lieutenant to most recently Deputy Fire Chief. Steve consistently remains at the top of our calls answered list year after year. He had numerous state and national certifications that will no doubt keep our organization progressing into the future for many years to come.
A firefighter from a long line of public servants, our next chapter begins in good hands with Steve at the helm. We know his father, Wally, is looking down proudly at Steven and his accomplishment.
